Talking Turf Golf Industry Show will feature a variety of educational seminars spanning over the two days of the conference, providing a 360 degree experience for all, and especially for those travelling from afar. The seminars will cover turfgrass related issues, golf course construction and design, business management, human relations and environmental management.

These lectures are suitable for golf club management, golf directors, golf course superintendents and staff, workshop managers, students, scholars and anyone who is passionate about growing grass, teaching golf or managing a golf facility.

I am thrilled with the way the show is growing and it is fantastic to have Ingrid as a partner. Ingrid and I have always worked well together and share the same passion and vision of bringing our industry together under one roof for a few days of awesome education, a great exhibition and lots of fun.

We had 220 delegates attend our 2011 lectures which was fantastic. We have quadrupled our capacity as well as brought on a new series of lectures for the club managers and golf directors which we are excited about.

We have a lot of interest from golf clubs in Africa on the educational sessions which will be great for the exhibitors. South Africa has fantastic products and services available which the end user doesn't always get to hear about.

This event is an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their products to Africa and surrounding islands and a wonderful opportunity for delegates to see what is available in the market. We have a lot of new exhibitors and well as new delegates for 2013.

With our SAA & Tsogo Sun partnerships we are able to offer all attendees discounted airfares and hotel accommodation. Our packages for education, flights and accommodation will go on sale on our website on 1 November 2012 - www.talkingturf.co.za. We will not be charging any entrance fee as to encourage exhibitors and delegates to invite their clientele at no cost. - Sue
